		After two years of designing, planning, and ongoing collaborations, Eero Saarinen finally wrote in his notes on July 28, 1961 that he was satisfied with the design of the North Christian Church, and construction could begin.
		On November 22nd, 1963, President John F. Kennedy was assassinated in Dallas, Texas, as a stunned nation bore silent witness.
		Today the North Christian Church is as inspiring and functional as it was when it was first built, and the number of Columbus residents who find comfort and security within its walls continues to grow.
