Cornwall Anthracite Furnaces: Erected in Cornwall Township by Robert W. Coleman and his brother William Coleman (sons of Thomas Bird Coleman) in 1849-52.
The furnace was donated to the state to be administered by the Pennsylvania Historical Commission (later the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission) by Margaret C. Buckingham, a great granddaughter of Robert Coleman, in 1932.
