The North East Lincolnshire Local Transport Plan describes outline plans to tackle traffic congestion, enhance passenger transport alternatives, improve road safety, safer routes to schools, more cycling and walking.

North East Lincolnshire Trading Standards Officers are now working with the respective Trade Mark holders and Worcestershire Trading Standards in order to collate sufficient evidence to bring legal proceedings against the importer of the goods.
Trading Standards are committed to stamping out counterfeiting in North East Lincolnshire and will continue to work with external agencies such as HM Customs and Excise in coming down hard on those that attempt to flaught the law.”

On a map of England, half way down the east coast, there is a feature in the River Humber, which has the look of a curved finger, pointing towards the land.
This feature is in Yorkshire, but the 'finger' (known locally as Spurn Point) points directly to Cleethorpes, a town which started off in the county of Lincolnshire, until the county became South Humberside.
This seaside resort has been a favourite with day-trippers, usually from Yorkshire, for over a century, as it is within easy reach of their homes (just over an hour on the train from Doncaster).
