North Jutland County is the northernmost region in Denmark located at the tip of the European continent.
North Jutland County (NJA) is a public organisation and with a staff of 14,000 the County is North Jutland's largest workplace.

The research team studied the risk of adverse birth and neonatal outcomes among the children of Danish women who filled pivmecillinam prescriptions either during the first trimester of pregnancy, during the last trimester of pregnancy, or during the entire pregnancy.
The risk of congenital malformations, preterm delivery (< 37 weeks, low birth weight < 2500 g, stillbirth, low Apgar score <7, hypoglycaemia, and respiratory-distress syndrome was assessed in the offspring of 2,031 women from the North Jutland Prescription Database, the Birth Registry, and North Jutland County's Hospital Discharge Registry.
This information was compared with the data from the offspring of 61,628 women who did not use pivmecillinam during their pregnancy.
