  North Annville Township
North Annville is a rural township in Lebanon County, Pennsylvania.
North Annville became a separate township in 1845, and its borders have remained unchanged since then, except for the southern edge, which was incorporated into the town of Annville in 1912.
For the most part, the township has resisted the development of residential subdivisions, and the road map of 1875 differs very little from the road map of today.

It comprised all the territory west and north of Chester between the Schuylkill and the Susquehanna Rivers and all west of the Susquehanna.
Derry was one of the Townships formed in the new county.
Londonderry Township originally was part of Derry Since the Township was so large and difficult to govern, the residents petitioned the court in 1767 to subdivide the land into two parts, the western section to remain Derry and the eastern section to be called Londonderry.

The English speaking farmers of the Eastern Townships of Canada and the Doak Families at Compton, Quebec in 1890 through 1910 were selling their holdings in the Eastern Townships.
Land Records for Londonderry, N. in 1724 indicate that John Doak, son of Robert of 1718, went to Donegal, Pennsylvania.
In 1883 Egel in his History of Pennsylvania, frequently refers to Donegal, but it is not certain which community he is referring to.

The death of a John McIlravey of North Strabane Township, was reported in the Washington Examiner issue of June 28, 1845.
They had one child, John, born in Pennsylvania - but in 1823 they bought land in Archer Township, Harrison County, Ohio, and moved there before their second son, William Q. was born in 1823.
George was in Washington Co. Pennsylvania in the 1840 and 1850 census and was in Cadiz Township, Harrison County in 1860.

 West Nottingham Township, Chester County PA
West Nottingham Township was originally part of the land grant given to William Penn, establishing Pennsylvania (and Chester County) in 1682.
The area eventually became Nottingham Township, but was merged with a much larger area of land, previously known as land "back of Nottingham", which extended north up to what is now Londonderry Township.
In addition to numerous troop movements through the Township, a large division of the American Army under the command of General Smallwood occupied the area around Nottingham, where the Nottingham Friends Meeting was used by the soldiers as a hospital.

Conewago Township is in the southeast corner of Dauphin County, and is bordered on the north by Derry Township (Hershey); on the west by Derry and Londonderry Townships; on the south by Mount Joy Township, Lancaster County; and on the east by South Londonderry Township, Lebanon County.
The Township is about 3.8 miles wide, and an average of 4.4 miles in length, comprising an area of about 16.7 sq miles or 10,700 acres.

 Description of the Geology of Chester County Pennsylvania
A long range of serpentine separates the two belts in E. Goshen and Williston townships, and another still more extensive serpentine belt ranges along the Maryland line into Lancaster County, and carries deposits of chrome-iron sand.
