News: World of Warcraft expansion exposed
Entitled 'Northrend,' it promised a whole new faction, along with the generic additions of armour, weapons, dungeons, and other dragon-slaying neccessaries.
The first clues to "Northrend" being a fake came from a look at the purported release, which claimed that a third faction would be added to the game.
This, while possibly plausible, would require a huge rebalancing of the gameplay, and thus sparked a huge outcry in various communities; to put it bluntly, the release was flamebait.
