 Laputan Logic
I'm around, obviously, but as more than one commenter has already noticed, blogging hasn't recommenced as promised.
I'm still pretty busy with a project I started nearly a year ago and the pressure is really on now to make a delivery so I won't be able to give Laputan Logic all that much attention for the next little while.
On the other end of the so called "controversy" we have a bunch of Darwinians seeking a pithy way to sum up evolution in 10 words or less.

Let me say this about soccer, it is even LESS popular than hockey here and that tells you how low on the food chain it is. Unless it is women’s soccer, now that I can watch, but for different reasons!
Look for him to be more vocal next year and to run a tighter ship because the “loosey-goosey” did not work this year as we can all plainly see.
Don’t blame it all on Flip, yes there are some things he could have done better but trust me it is more you than him.

I was reading Howard Nurse’s post and was astounded to read they had no less than 10 people dedicated (solely, it appears) to England’s match against Portugal.
The fact is, I - and England, and the public - underestimated the side who were considered nothing more than an hors d’oeuvres before the Pakistan pie (sorry, couldn’t resist).
Those lacking ability, or movement, are “less abled” which, from my time at the NHS, was met with guffaws by the dozen of so wheelchair-bound patients who I worked with on a daily basis).
