November was also the ninth month in the Roman calendar until a monthless winter period was divided between January and February.
November in the Northern Hemisphere is the seasonal equivalent to May in the Southern Hemisphere and vice versa.

"1" is the 15th Beatles album to reach #1 in the UK and is the first #1 album for the group since 1996's "Anthology 2".
During the past week 750,000 copies of "1" were sold in Japan; 595,000 copies were sold in the US (second to the 855,500 copies of "Anthology 1" sold during its first week); and 313,000 copies were sold in the UK, making "1" the fastest-selling album of the year.
