The broadcast centre in Novi Sad, in Serbia's northern province of Vojvodina, was in flames on Monday night, but Serbian state radio reported there were no radio or TV employees in the buiding.
The radio said parts of the building were still burning at midnight, and fire crews were having difficulty in reaching the scene because bridges across the Danube had been destroyed in earlier raids.
