metallica doesn't need inspiration, especially from a numetal garbage band.
just cos they are NEW doesnt mean they are numetal....you could say that about ANY metal band now...they are all numetal!

I guess Helmet frontman Page Hamilton was tired of the direction the numetal scene has taken the last years with a more commercial touch both with production and songs so he decided to make a raw record again back to the early sound of Helmet.
The leading track "The way I was" is a killer and the catchy "Over now" must be these guys most melodic song so far, good stuff.
"The morning after" is numetal by the book and the real agressive "Dream" surely will satisfy the fans of TM who wants more brutal material.

TUNGSTEN's a metal I think, well even if it isn¹t the band definitely are.
We're not talking any of your modern NuMetal stylings or Punk-Metal or whatever else there is, we¹re talking old school Metal, long hair, leathers, satanic symbols and good old Rawk' mentalities.
The music is nothing new at all, the band apparently date back to 1985 which is about right I guess for the beginning of this particular brand of Metal, however TUNGSTEN are good at it and carry the style well.
