Numedal is the westernmost valley in south-eastern Norway.
Numedal, running mainly north-to-south, extends from Kongsberg in the south to Rødberg in the north.
Numedal is also the name of a traditional district situated within the county of Buskerud, and contains the municipalities of Flesberg, Rollag and Nore og Uvdal.

Numedalslågen Lag is a "lag" primarily made up of descendants of people who emigrated from the Numedal Valley, the Kongsberg-Sandsvær area, and Kommuner of Lardal and Larvik of Norway.
We do, however, have many members who still live in Norway and also some who just have an interest in Numedal without having "roots" there.
