 The Holy Sepulchre - Egeria
Egeria was steeped, if not in the Latin classics, at least in those of the Church, and her language often echoes that of the Bible or of formal prayer.
Egeria gives no sign that she used any other reference book apart from her Bible.
And, if Egeria intended to do no more than pass on to her sisters as accurately as possible what she had seen, we may forgive her haphazard syntax and also, it may be, begin to appreciate her rich vocabulary, and her eye for the pointed word and phrase.

Egeria and Paula and Eustochium were to write of their pilgrimages in epistles, in letters.

THE CHRISTIAN SANCTUARIES IN TRANSJORDAN 07
In her stop in the city at the foot of Mount Nebo, Egeria had enough time to commemorate, by reading the Bible and praying, all the biblical episodes related to this territory, referred to in the Bible as The Steppes of Moab.
It is where Joshua the son of Nun «was filled with the spirit of wisdom» when Moses died, «for Moses had laid his hands upon him», as it is written.
With us came some holy men from Jerusalem, a presbyter and deacons, and several brothers (monks), and we reached the place on the Jordan where holy Joshua the son of Nun sent the children of Israel across, and they passed over, as we are told in the Book of Joshua the son of Nun.

 MusL 242: EGERIA
Egeria explains that the length of preaching is increased so that "the people will continually be learning about the Bible and the love of God." Another difference between this service and the others previously described is that after the dismissal, only the faithful are allowed to enter the Anastasis to be blessed by the bishop.
Egeria tells that "what [she] found most impressive about all this was that the psalms and antiphons [the church used were] always appropriate." This could imply that these psalms and antiphons were part of the proper chants used in the liturgy.
Egeria describes the Sunday Service as "what is everywhere the custom on the Lord's Day." On this day, any presbyter may preach before the bishop's sermon, which greatly increases the length of the service.

Alan Horvath BLOG: Bible Study Tools Apocalypse
A home Bible study is not only a great way to acheive that, but also a wonderful way to spend time together on a regular basis, getting your family members to open up to each other and to bond in the most remarkable ways.
I've studied more than 25 books of the Bible through Missler's commentaries and find his views and interpretations to not only be the most educated and well-informed that I've ever come across, but the most entertaining and easy to listen to, as well.
Many people across America are tired of not hearing the teachings of the Bible in their local churches and are turning to the Word of God itself through home study groups...

 Killer Nun
Ekberg) is not quite right in the head...as the film opens, she is spouting hateful dialogue towards the bastard who raped her years ago, hoping his soul burns in hell rather than forgive him as the Bible says.
The 'nasty nun' subgenre of exploitation cinema has become well-documented and beloved by sleaze fans worldwide.
There are smatterings of grain and vertical wavy lines during several sequences, and colors aren't as bold and tasteful as they should be (which probably is the fault of the original film's color scheme).

To the chagrin of some of the priests, I said, "These Mormons have captured the Bible better than we." At that time I was attending a Bible school at night which was not taught by a priest but by a lay professor.
It is such a good book!" He said, "Well, it must be a Protestant book." "Oh no! It is like a Bible," I said.
The first thing I looked for was what they think about Christ, because when I became a nun I dedicated my life to Christ.

Who Killed Australian Missionary Graham Staines? by Arun Shourie
In fact, associates of Staines himself told the Wadhwa Commission that Staines used to conduct "Bible classes" at "Jungle camps." One of his oldest acquaintances told the Commission that Staines had been totally secretive about both the "Jungle camps" and the accounts etc. of the Leprosy House he ran.
"Orissa's second stain: nun raped," shouted the Indian Express, "Nun gangraped by men in sari in Orissa," hollered The Telegraph.
It is obvious, therefore, that Staines was both a social worker engaged in the treatment and eradication of leprosy amongst the poorest of the poor and also a missionary driven by a deep commitment to his religion and the belief that he should spread its tenets amongst the people in the area.

 Ecumenical Miracle Rosary
I call the rosary "ecumenical", since the prayers and "miracles" are either directly from the Bible or are derived from the Bible.
I hope that Catholics will view this rosary as another devotion which can be prayed on regular rosary beads, such as the Chaplet of the Divine Mercy, given to us by St. Faustina, a Polish nun who died in 1938.
I also want Catholics to understand that the Ecumenical Miracle Rosary is in no way meant to be a replacement for the Most Holy Rosary, and it is for that reason it includes different prayers and meditates specifically on Christ's miracles performed during his life on earth.
