GW Online : Warhammer : Hordes of Chaos : Nurgle   (Site not responding. Last check: 2007-10-12)
Nurgle is said to delight in every new pox, every unique rash and blister, and of all the gods takes the most interest in the plight of his mortal followers.
Nurgle is portrayed as a kindly, almost jovial god, known often as Father or Grandfather Nurgle.
Nurgle's Champions, ravaged by disease, are themselves protected from such plagues, for they become inured to the pain and discomfort, and while their bodies may corrupt, the spirit of Nurgle sustains them when lesser mortals would die.

 Nurgle - Warhammer 40k - A Wikia wiki
Nurgle is the Chaos god of disease, decay and consistency.
Nurgle's anti-thesis is Tzeentch, the Lord of Change, because, where Tzeentch seeks to build, and plot, and scheme, Nurgle only seeks to destroy, and break down.
Nurglings resemble Orkish Snotlings (with the exception of being disease ridden)

Nurgle - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Nurgle is the Chaos god of disease, decay, despair and destruction.
Nurgle represents the forces of decay in the universe, his worshippers following him only out of despair at being infected with his plagues; Tzeentch is a god representing evolution and the pursuit of grand schemes, whose worshippers follow him out of hope of gaining power and other rewards.
Nurgle's sacred number in Warhammer 40,000 is seven, so Plaguemarines are frequently formed in units consisting of a multiple of seven.

 What is Nurgle?
The one line definition is: Nurgle is one of the four Chaos Powers according to the background for Games Workshop's various games.
It appears that Nurgle's entire purpose is to promote endless suffering and misery throughout all the Mortal Realms.
Yet, conversely to this, I have heard tell that Nurgle is supposedly deeply caring towards His mortal and daemonic servants, and is full of unexpected humour...

 Nurgle
Many of the most horrible diseases are the creations of Nurgle, including the nauseating Red Pox and the most disgusting and devastating of all: Nurgle's Rot.
Remember that Nurgle is arguably the chaos god that possesses most character, so you must take care to design levels filled with gas traps, chasms filled with slime and so on.
Daemons of Nurgle have strong defencive abilities (high toughness or, in the case of plaguebearers, high defense, to represent the cloud of flies in close combat).

This site has a lot of information about Nurgle.
I've switched up the random images that appear on the front page and edited some of the squad composition information to reflect the purging of the less well painted models from my army.
Occaisionally on my blog there is information on Nurgle and Miniature Painting.
