Inquiry into exam mark down - Alexander Harris Solicitors
Education Secretary Estelle Morris has launched an inquiry into claims that some high-achieving pupils were downgraded by the OCR examination board.
In addition, because the examination board is a public body, there could also be cause for a Judicial Review - which could result in the re-marking of all papers.
Solicitor Douglas Silas, who heads the education department at Alexander Harris, says such students could have claims of educational negligence against their examining board or breach of contract.
