Topic: OKB

OKB - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
OKB is a transliteration of the Russian acronym for "Опытное конструкторское бюро" - Opytnoe Konstructorskoe Byuro, meaning Experimental Design Bureau.
During the Soviet era, OKBs were closed institutions working on design and prototyping of advanced technology, usually for military applications.
A bureau was officially identified by a number, and often semi-officially by the name of the lead designer - for example, OKB-51 was lead by Pavel Sukhoi, and eventually became known as OKB Sukhoi.

In 1960, at the Korolev OKB, Korolev and his staff of scientists and engineers began long range plans for rockets larger than the Soyuz without an officially acknowledged goal or mission although the possibility of lunar missions were obvious.
The Chelomey OKB proposed a series of boosters to satisfy the needs for future lunar missions and other uses consisting of the UR-200 with a payload of 3-4,000 kg.
The OKB also projected the next in the series would be the UR-700 with a payload of 90-130,000 kg.

Most of all, we need a method of telling at a glance the abilities of a player (again, see ratings, below).
Perhaps the best way of doing it would be to divide the OKB population each week into ten (or a hundred, whatever) deciles (percentiles) (based on IMPs and/or MPs).
The decile(s) for the server would show in the tables listing (or not show, if the server was hiding his stats).
