	Mac OS X: Game Developer's Playground
		Since everyone on our team was running Windows 98 or NT, I used "OpenStep Enterprise", a version of the OpenStep application layer that ran atop those operating systems (in contrast to the Mach/BSD layer that supported OpenStep/Mach and that today provides the foundation for Mac OS X), as the basis for my work.
		OpenStep's compiler provided an Objective-C++ mode, although support for certain more modern C++ features (such as templates) was lacking in that version.
		In the OpenStep version of my app, all textures were drawn fully opaque, so one would have to drag a texture temporarily out of position to see which others might be hiding behind it.
