		Polio vaccines at the time (and, in many cases, today) were made in a tissue culture, or layer of cells, consisting of minced primate kidneys, in which the polio virus could be massively reproduced.
		The case was finally settled out of court, with the magazine printing a short "clarification" in 1993 that simply restated the absence of definitive proof for the theory.
