OSU at Tulsa and TCC also share a task force composed of 30 to 40 administrators and faculty from both universities to work out issues ranging from enrollment to financial aid to marketing, Drummond said.

TCC is the No. 1 feeder school for OSU at Tulsa.

To help the students of Oklahoma State University-Tulsa recognize the importance of Booker T. Washington High School, the University Center at Tulsa Trust Authority and OSU-Tulsa officials have proposed a marker to be constructed on the OSU-Tulsa campus to identify the high school's original location.
The first WHS was a place where students began reaching for their dreams, and Trennepohl wants to emphasize that sentiment to the students at OSU-Tulsa.
Built in 1913, WHS played "a vital role in Tulsa public education," said Gary Trennepohl, president of OSU-Tulsa.

The package includes $12.3 million to improve streets, extend an expressway practically to the Garden gate, and extend water and sewer lines to the site just northwest of downtown Tulsa.
Money from the bond issues also will contribute to Phase I of the Gilcrease Expressway expansion, which will extend southeast of the site.

Nine of us convoyed to Stillwater from Tulsa for the show, had a bite to eat at Eskimo Joes, (we were met there by my oldest biodaughter Tasha...she's a freshman at OSU this year...sweet baby...), then headed out west to Tumbleweed.
TGD was the headliner band, preceded by No Justice (those boys really rock...watch for big things from them), Marshall City band from Tulsa, and another band who's name I didn't catch because I was busy nursing my brews.
And special thanks to Sharon from Fort Worth, Texas for the following shots...she and her friend Heather (red shirt, last pic in the set above) traveled to Stillwater just for the show!!!

Phase One of the stadium renovation is reconstruction of the south side and is to be complete in time for the season-opener September 11th against Tulsa.
OSU received a $20-million donation last year from OSU alum and oilman Boone Pickens.

Looking back at previous Memories guestbooks, I see that Randy Lidster posted that his show was the first TV Show in the history of OSU.
The first show from OSU was either the Jacky Back Show or Jack LaBack, sometime around 1966.
Their spiritual heirs, Monty Python, showed up on Channel 11 in the mid-70s, and seemed completely out of left field at the time.
