		Ocean Beach is a beach that runs along the west coast of San Francisco, California, United States, at the Pacific Ocean.
		The beach throughout the late spring and summer is almost always enveloped in San Francisco's characteristic foggy weather leaving average temperatures there at 50-55F (9-12C), thus scaring away many tourists and beach goers.
		Surfers and other swimmers have died at Ocean Beach; as of May 2006, the most recent death is documented here [1] with the next-previous death taking place in January of 2006 [2].

		Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 13 February 2005: - - A 28-year-old man was pronounced dead Saturday at a San Francisco hospital after surfers reportedly pulled his body from the water at Ocean Beach, according to the San Francisco Fire Department.
		When paramedics arrived around 11:45 a.m., surfers had pulled the man onto the shore and were administering CPR to the man, said a fire department dispatcher.
		The man was transported to University of California, San Francisco Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
