Ocean Township is part of the Ocean Township School District, a consolidated school district serving students in grades K - 12 in both Loch Arbour and Ocean Township.

Ocean Township, Monmouth County — The Attorney General’s Shooting Response Team and the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office are conducting an investigation into the circumstances surrounding an early morning (Fri., Aug. 15) shooting incident off Route 18 in Ocean Township, Monmouth County, New Jersey.
Monmouth County Superior Court records reveal that Wright pleaded guilty to charges contained in four separate Monmouth County Grand Jury indictments, which included charges of aggravated assault, resisting arrest, eluding police, possession of a weapon and receiving stolen property.
Patrols from the Asbury Park, Neptune Township, and Wall Township Police Departments and the New Jersey State Police responded to the alert.

The New Jersey Attorney General announced the indictment of four people in connection with a real estate fraud scheme that, among other offenses, involved the acquisition of more than $441,000 in mortgage loans through the use of falsified application data.
The indictment also alleges that, in the case of a home they sold in Lakewood, Ocean County, New Jersey, Anthony Dixon and his wife accepted a $38,607 deposit from the buyer and later closed the purchase deal without disclosing that there was an unsatisfied lien against the property as well as several default judgments.
