Ochazuke, which literally translates to Tea Soaked, is a rice dish that I've had on a very, very regular basis since I was old enough to boil water.
Most of the time, I use left over rice and a 'ochazuke package', which has dried tea/broth (I don't know for sure if it's broth or tea powder...) and the trimmings, consisting of rice crackers and seaweed.
The most recent 91st issue (yes, there really is 91 issues, published bi-annually...) of my epicurean bible, Oishinbo, had a whole chapter dedicated to the art of Ochazuke, and if you look really, really closely at this tiny picture on Amazon.co.jp, you'll notice that it is Ochazuke on the cover.

Don't really understand why (?!) given how full I am at the moment, but then I remembered hearing once that ochazuke was commonly served at the end of an elaborate meal in Japan.
Ochazuke is basically white rice and green tea, covered with various Japanese toppings, etc. Toppings can vary, but are typically shredded nori, wasabi, rice cracker chunks, mitsuba, bonito flakes, salmon, pickled plums (if not plum, something similar), etc.
And I'd like to believe that it'd take more than a bowl of ochazuke to discredit and declare me a flake.
