		Oconomowoc is a town in Waukesha County, Wisconsin, United States.
		In the town the population was spread out with 25.4% under the age of 18, 6.2% from 18 to 24, 29.4% from 25 to 44, 29.2% from 45 to 64, and 9.8% who were 65 years of age or older.
		The median income for a household in the town was $68,676, and the median income for a family was $75,200.

		He was enlisted at Oconomowoc as Lewis G. Nelson in Company D of the 15th by Captain Charles Campbell for a 3 year term of service on October 30, 1861.
		Nelson was formally appointed as the Adjutant by the Governor of Wisconsin on June 3, 1863, at Murfreesboro, Tennessee, to rank from May 27, 1863.
