  Octorok - Zelda Wiki - A Wikia wiki
Octoroks are one of the most common type of enemies in The Legend of Zelda series, along with Moblins and Zolas.
Some Octoroks lurk around in shallow waters and rivers on islands and fire rocks at people, hiding whenever someone comes near, while others dwell in the ocean, firing Bombs from their mouth at random travelers.
A rare type of Octorok known as a Big Octo appears in certain areas, where Seagulls are circling.

OCTOROK used to readily eat frozen food, and loved silversides and shrimp.
OCTOROK is a bimac, I should have specified this before.
I believe Octorok is a bimac, and they don't come from tropical waters, so they tolerate lower temperatures, even down to 60 degrees.

Swing yourself over and drop into the pool where the 2nd Octorok was and then enter the cave to the right.

Deku Scrubs are a race or species of plant-like humanoids introduced in Ocarina of Time and based on the Octorok enemy.
Dekus have leaves on their heads, red glowing eyes, and their mouths are short, wide, hollow tubes that they can't shut tight, preventing them from swimming without drowning.
They can shoot nuts out of their mouths, similarly to how Octoroks shoot rocks.

To defeat the Giant Octorok, first use your shield to deflect the huge rocks he shoots at you back at him.
Use the Flame Lantern to light the Giant Octorok's tail on fire, you may have to run around him and change directions a few times to do so.

Several times (when she was an adult) I put 50 one-inch shrimp in her 46 gallon tank.

The Octorok dodged the arrow of course, but this time Link shot it in front of it, and when the arrow hit the water ice spread out for about two yards.
The first one shot at Link, and Link dove to the side, only to have the other remaining octorok shoot at him as he landed.
When it came through, and when Link threw his bomb, it had fired a rock, which hit the bomb, and made it explode prematurely.

I'm up to the Big Octorok in the Temple of Droplets and I wonder if I've met my match.
If you thought the giant octorok was hard, wait until you meet the final boss!
I can't say I remember the Big Octorok being too tough for me, though I am an old Zelda vet and I like to think I'm pretty good at these games after all these years.

Watch out for the bubbles as you walk down the next tunnel and shoot the switch on the ceiling with your slingshot.
Kill the Octorok and wait for the platform to lower down.

The octorok runs around the map and shoots small rocks at you which are easily blockable.
Same as the Red kind, only it moves faster.
Same locations as the Red Octorok, but not quite as frequent (especially around the Start screen).
