 | | Over the past two years, the security of HUD offices has been examined, employee emergency plans have been developed, executive protective services have been expanded, technology and infrastructure security has been improved and continuity of operations plans have been developed. |
 | | The office was formed in August 2002 when, at the direction of the Secretary, security, HUD emergency planning, personnel security and protective services functions were consolidated from four separate organizations into one. |
 | | The office maintains several systems to perform our activities including: the DSX Card Access System for building, garage and room access; the Security Control and Access Tracking System to manage employee suitability and national security investigations; and the HUD Emergency Response System to manage emergency operations. |
