	good places in Ogikubo tokyo?
		Im staying in Ogikubo and was wondering if there were any particular spots where I could meet people (females mostly lol).
		basically ogikubo is full of snacks, some hostess places or kabakura and the rest is izakayaville and we don`t even have any decent restaurants.
		i do know of half a dozen japanese style "bars" around ogikubo but they are all entirely pants.

		Ogikubo itself is a city while Suginami-ku (Suginami City Ward) is something like an entire district comprising several cities.
		Ogikubo itself seems to be generally less over-developed than central Tokyo (which is where famous places like Shinjuku, Ginza, Akihabara, etc are located).

		Recently I discovered accidentally that a year ago Richard, the owner of Brin de Muguet in Ogikubo (see review on DOiT) has opened a French food take-out shop near Ogikubo station’s south exit called Le Jardin Gaulois.
		I have been buying this brand of parmesan at Kaldi in Ogikubo and Kichi Joji for a long time, and they almost always have it in stock.

		Our stay at the Vacance Group property in Nishi Ogikubo apartment was wonderful.
		We traveled with a 16 month old, so it was a much better option than a hotel, especially with the kitchenette and washing machine.

		My personal preference is still for the Ogikubo store, not just for sentimentality or because the staff knows me going on 16 years now, but because the atmosphere and portions are the best there.
		The Ogikubo store is one of those places where everyone shouts greetings when you walk in; in fact, any order given is another occasion for the staff to shout to each other.

		Woke up early today, and headed out, looking for an ATM first thing in Minowa, as my pockets were almost empty.
		I realize it keeps going to Ogikubo, so I continue on, and then transfer there for one stop to the Antique capital of Tokyo.
		Walking out, it takes me a while to find the infamous An-chi-ku-ma-pu that the guidebook speaks of so lovingly, but I find it, and start walking.

		Hideji Hanabusa, working at Ogikubo Hospital in Tokyo, assessed the efficacy of high-dose IFN therapy in coinfected hemophiliacs.
