		Ogunquit, pronounced "o-GUHN-kwit", is a town in York County, Maine, United States.
		Ogunquit, which meant "coastal lagoon" to native Abenaki Indians, was first a village within Wells, which was settled in 1641.
		Ogunquit is drained by the Josias River and Ogunquit River.
