Okay Airlines made its maiden flight from Tianjin in north China to the central city of Changsha.
Okay will operate six Boeing 737 aircraft on domestic routes, focusing on charter flights, cargo and express delivery services.
The airline is owned by investors from Beijing and the southern financial centre of Shenzhen, near Hong Kong.

Meals are okay, not as good as they used to be, but still far better than many.
I can't imagine what market their new discount airline Jetstar is aiming it - removing free meals and the business cabin in Qantas domestic is all that is needed to offer the same as Virgin Blue does, but then by all accounts Virgin Blue have learned how to do service and keep time.
Okay, I've only been on domestic and tourist flights from Oz, so this may not be the best guide.

The seat comfort and legroom were much better than many other airlines (maybe because this is a scheduled service rather than a charter) even though most of the passengers were package holidaymakers.
