		They go to the Shinsengumi dojo, where the leader, Kondo Isami, agrees to let Tetsu fight the legendary Captain of the First Squad, Okita Souji...who turns out to be, much to the amazement of the brothers, the cute kind young man who invited them in for tea (and who's pig knocked Tetsu into the river).
		Okita and Tetsu's fight is stopped by Hijikata (the second-in-command), who disapproves of the fight and of Tetsu's request to join.

		I like Souji too from PMK, he was very nice to Tetsu who is probably my favorite character in the series.
		I prefer the more..."historically" accurate versions of Okita such as in "Shinsengumi!", the Trust and Betrayal Rurouni Kenshin OVA and in Kaze Hikaru.
		If Okita's hair had been a radically different color, like it is in Bakumatsu Renka, then I probably wouldn't have enjoyed the anime as much as I did.

		The simple act of escorting a young lady to her sister's house turns deadly when Okita finds the place under attack, and the girl he escorted may not be what she seemed.
		Okita eventually convinces Susumu that some things are worth taking up a sword for.
		This one has more conversation than action, so it's harder to pick up on the story by just skimming through it, but there's a scene where Okita was getting mad at a young Shinsengumi member until he finds out that that day was the first time the young man had killed.

		Okita makes a brief appearance midway through OVA 1, a lot throughout OVA 2 and at the very end of OVA 4.

		Souji took up the sword at a very young age (the dvd says 9)and the disipline required to be as good as Souji is took much time to learn.
		Souji is male, yet I feel the transformation he goes to when he draws the sword is highly dramatic because he appears so 'fem'.
		Another reason for getting the dvd was the dubbed voice for Souji is the same person that voiced Hakkai in Gensomaden Saiyuki which is a huge fav of mine...
