The Arizona Outlaws were a professional American football team that played in the United States Football League in the mid 1980s.
The Outlaws began their history in San Diego as a franchise awarded to William Tatham, though the team never played a game there.
Following a 1984 season which saw significant financial losses, Tatham merged the club with the Arizona Wranglers for the 1985 season, creating the Arizona Outlaws.

The new Oklahoma franchise, known as the “Outlaws”, signed their first player in mid-July of 1983 in punter/kicker Stu Crum from Tulsa University, however they made a major splash on August 9, 1983 with the signing of Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Doug Williams.
The Outlaws would also be acquiring a lot of versatility in Williams, as he left Tampa Bay ranked number one in total passing yards and touchdown passes, number two in total rushing yards, and number four in rushing touchdowns.
It would be the only touchdown scored on the day as the Outlaws literally slid by with a 7-3 win in a game that included 8 fumbles, 3 interceptions, and less than 400 yards of offense between the 2 teams combined.

I know this will surprise many who thought the recent constitutional amendment was supposed to defend the special status of those elite people who fall in love with members of the opposite sex, but apparently, according to Representative Kern, the recent constitutional amendment was intended to outlaw gay people.
So, in case you did not know, being gay is outlawed in the state of Oklahoma by constitutional amendment.
Oh, and while we are about it, does this constitutional amendment that outlaws the supposed "gay lifestyle" also outlaw the marriages conducted by several churches in the state?

 Ottawa County Outlaws
The Ottawa County 12 Year Old Outlaws played this past weekend in the Oklahoma 12 year Old USSSA East State Tournament in Jenks, OK. There were 41 teams participating in the tournament this year from across the state of Oklahoma, and the Outlaws took 3rd place!
Of course we were all disappointed not to win the tournament, but the team played hard and when they found themselves down...they fought back!
The Outlaws made it to the Final Four which consisted of teams from Tulsa, Stillwater, Enid and of course our team...a group of boys from Miami, Commerce, Fairland, Picher and Afton.
