 News -- Rivers: Peace pact: Minister, former governor may take oath in Okrika
Facts emerging from the Okrika kingdom in Rivers State reveal that permanent peace may not be actualised in the area unless those who were said to have worked for the formation of the two militant groups that are still making the area uncomfortable are forced to take oath for peace to reign.
It would be recalled that the traditional rulers in their town square in Okrika kingdom subjected the leadership of all the militant groups to oath taking for peace, at the exclusion of their alleged sponsors, a development that majority of Okrika people are still crying foul over.
In the recent crisis that unfolded background of the Okrika crisis, Mr Ateke said some people have resolved to continue to sponsor the crisis instead of allowing peace to reign.
