Pasadena is the main population and cultural center of the San Gabriel Valley.
The original inhabitants of Pasadena and surrounding areas were the Hahamogna, a branch of the Tongva (part of the Shoshone language group).

The Equator is located in Old Town Pasadena at 22 Mills Alley, across the way from Jake's pool house.
