MP Hryhoriy Omelchenko has requested that the prosecutor general arrest Leonid Kuchma for his involvement in the murder of Georhiy Gongadze, the beating of Oleksander Eliashkevych, as well as for accepting bribes, wasting state funds, and for the misuse of his official position.
As was reported, the Cabinet of Ministers, headed by Azarov, gave Kuchma life-long use of a dacha, security, free travel, vacations, and staff.
Omelchenko also asked the prosecutor general to arrest the director of state enterprise "Ukspetseksport," Shmarov, for illegal sale of weapons, which had resulted in the government being fined.
