  Olin Dutra, Golf Star in 30's; Won the United States Open - New York Times
Olin Dutra, one of the top touring golfers of the 1930's and the winner of the United States Open in 1934, died Thursday at his home here after a long illness.
Dutra, a native of Monterey, Calif., was a teaching professional after his tournament-playing career, which also included a victory in the Professional Golfers' Association Championship in 1932.
Dutra won the 1932 P.G.A. at Keller Golf Club in St. Paul, Minn., by beating Frank Walsh, 4 and 3, in the final of that match-play event.
