Ottawa County is a county in the U.S. state of Michigan.
In the county the population was spread out with 28.70% under the age of 18, 11.90% from 18 to 24, 29.30% from 25 to 44, 20.00% from 45 to 64, and 10.10% who were 65 years of age or older.
The county government operates the jail, maintains rural roads, operates the major local courts, keeps files of deeds and mortgages, maintains vital records, administers public health regulations, and participates with the state in the provision of welfare and other social services.

He is an old settler of Center Township, Hall County, Neb., and was born in Canada West January 19, 1844, and is the fourth in a family of seven children born to the marriage of Daniel Rathbun and Ruth Ryder, both natives of York State, the former's birth occurring February 24, 1812.
Henry Roach, one of Hall County's (Neb.) worthy and well-to-do farmers, is a son of Henry and Mary (Donahoe) Roach, both of whom were born in the "Emerald Isle," the latter's birth occurring in County Galway.
Olive Elizabeth died in her twentieth year, on January 27, 1881, and was the wife of Matthew Curran.
