Olivier Peslier, the Frankie Dettori of France   (Site not responding. Last check: 2007-10-03)
Olivier was born in Chateau Gontier, France, on 12.01.73 into a family that had nothing to do with horse racing...his dad was a stone mason.
With Olivier riding the last months of 2001 in Japan, Boeuf was able to claw back the advantage that Olivier had had during the season and duly pipped Olivier by 1 winner for the Cravache d'Or.
Olivier also rode a masterful race on Bank's Hill to romp away with the Breeder's Cup Fillies and Mares Turf at Belmont.
