 | | This day is still commemorated in Norway with the "Olsok" or St. Olave's Festival (see the events calendar above for July/August 2001 and 2002) and is preceded by a series of festivities and a Pilgrimage from Oslo to Trondheim. |
 | | Similar celebrations may have occured in Viking Age Wirral and Chester, and this tradition was revived in 2001 with battle re-enactments at Arrowe Park and a service at St. Olave's led by Pastor Oddgeir Bolstad (of the Scandinavian Church, Park Lane Liverpool). |
