Olveston is a small village and larger parish in South Gloucestershire, England.
The parish is comprised of the villages of Olveston and Tockington, and the hamlets of Old Down, Ingst and Awkley.
An historic, early 20th century, house (http://www.olveston.co.nz/home.php) in the inner suburbs of Dunedin, New Zealand is named Olveston, after the birthplace of the original owner.

The Olveston Parish Allotment and Gardeners Association site is a member of the Allotment and Vegetable Gardening Ring.
Local historians tell us that until 1965 when mains sewerage was installed, the land was used to dump "night soil" an old euphemism for toilet waste which probably explains the rich soil on the site and the fine crops it produces.
Olveston Parish Allotment and Gardeners Association (OPAGA) has managed the plot on behalf of the Council for nearly 12 years and we are now re-negotiating the agreement terms - with the help of the National Society - to try and incorporate both "Best Practices" and a future Business Plan.

To the west of the Otago Museum, in the city's green belt, is the mansion of Olveston (1906), designed by the English architect Ernest George.
Its first owner was David E Theomin, a businessman and art collector who came from Olveston, near Bristol, and settled in Dunedin in 1879.
This sumptuous 35-room mansion in late Victorian style gives some impression of the way of life of the prosperous middle class in the early 20th C. The oak staircase and balustrade were made in England.
