Omega point - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Omega point is a term invented by French Jesuit Pierre Teilhard de Chardin to describe the ultimate maximum level of complexity-consciousness, considered by him the aim towards which consciousness evolves.
Omega point is reprised by the mathematical physicist Frank J. Tipler to describe a hypothetical cosmological scenario in the far future of the Universe.
The omega point theory assumes that certain cosmological parameters have values that require the universe to eventually contract, and that there will be intelligent civilizations in existence at the appropriate time to exploit the computational capacity of such an environment.

To invent a new term, we might call these Alpha-Omega Point simulations, i.e., perfectly simulating new universes from the beginning of their Big Bang singularity to their ending in a Big Crunch singularity wherein the final causal-boundary is another Omega Point.

Omega point (Tipler) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Omega Point is a term used by Tulane University professor of mathematics and physics Frank J. Tipler to describe a hypothetical cosmological scenario in the far future of the Universe.
Assuming that achieving the Omega Point is physically possible, Tipler hypothesizes this would be accomplished by "downloaded" human consciousness in tiny quantum computers that could exponentially explore space, many times faster than biological human beings.
From this point on the entire visible universe would be engulfed as it approaches the point of maximum expansion.

As the Omega Point is approached, survival dictates that life collectively gain control of all matter and energy sources available near the Final State, with this control becoming total at the Omega Point.
The real significance of this observation is that the Omega Point is an ideal point which is used to characterise the boundary of space-time, but which is not itself part of the space-time manifold.

The '''Consciousness Singularity''' refers to a hypothetical point of time in the future when human consciousness, at both the personal and species level, experiences an abrupt transition, a phase transition of sorts, into a collective state of transcendence that is conceptually impossible for us to imagine "what it's like" with our current limited cognitive abilities.
