The median income for a household in the town was $43,750, and the median income for a family was $48,988.

OMRO, Town, (formerly Bloomingdale,) in county of Winnebago, being town 18 N,, of range 18 E. V., in Brown county, on Duck creek, near centre of Oneida Reservation.
The population of the town in 1850 was 777.

The town of Butte des Morts was organized in 1839, while it was yet a part of Brown Co., and in 1843 Winnebago Co. having been created, the name was changed to the town of Winnebago.
From the records of the first town meeting of Butte des Morts, held in April, at the house of Edward West, it appears that twenty-one votes were polled.
Being in the center of so fine an agricultural district the general trade of Omro is large, as is evident ot any visitor by the general busy appearance of her streets.

Omro is unique in that six of its eight parks are located along the Fox River, and provide a recreational experience different from that normally enjoyed in a neighborhood or community park.
The City of Omro assumed responsibility for the maintenance of the cemetery in 1990 at the request of the Omro Cemetery Association.

Wisconsin is now home to 388 State Natural Areas, more than any similar sites protected in any other state, which is appropriate those working with the program say, because Wisconsin was the first state in the nation to develop a natural areas preservation program.
The program was created through the efforts of Wisconsin citizens, including Aldo Leopold, who felt it was important to preserve areas that saved rare plants and animals.
In honor of the 50th anniversary of the program, 53 additional areas were dedicated last year, some of which, such as five new sites in Door County and three along the Mississippi River, represent rare habitats that are under increasing pressure from development and from encroachment by exotic and invasive species.
