Once More, with Feeling (Buffy episode) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
"Once More, with Feeling" is a musical episode of the television series Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
After an overture with some wordless scenes of Buffy and her friends taken from a normal day (simply named "Overture"), we see Buffy patrolling in a cemetery at night, but there is something wrong with her and with the demons she meets and kills: they are all singing and dancing.
Arriving, Buffy starts to sing and dance defiantly, again expressing her current condition and the hardships of being the Slayer, when she finally reveals to Sweet and her friends that when, by resurrecting her, they had pulled her out of Heaven and not out of a hell dimension as they thought.

In "Once More with Feeling," everything comes to a head in a spectacular episode that's funny, touching and revealing, and all to the tune of catchy song-and-dance numbers.
Presented in letterbox format, with more than a dozen songs and only about eight minutes of dialogue, the story is moved along by the music.

"Once More, With Feeling" was both "Buffy" and musical -- a full-on musical episode and a joyously conceived hour of pure entertainment.

'Once More With Feeling', a much needed shaft of lightness in Buffy the Vampire Slayer's dark sixth series, demonstrates that a 'special' episode can be genuinely special.
Not only was it brilliant because it was so visually spectacular but also because by the characters singing it is one of the first times we can actually see what they are feeling inside, something that before could only be brought across by dialogue.
