		Onega R&D Technological Bureau being now the Federal State Unitary Enterprise was established on the first of January 1975 on the basis of technical services of Zvezdochka Shipyard to solve the problems concerning the overhaul of the Nuclear Powered Submarines of the second generation and the expansion of the Shiprepair production capacity.
		From the moment of the enterprise establishment the engineers of Onega carried out a lot of research and development works for creation of NPS repair and modernization procedures as well as technological rigging for qualitative performance of the overhaul on a high technological level and reduction of the overhaul cost and duration.
		Onega participates in the overhaul of the Indian Navy diesel–electric Submarines at Zvezdochka Shiprepair yard.
