		Even with some of the best fansubed animes out there sometimes lines of dialog just don't feel right, and I guess for fansubs just having a readable translation may be enough in essence, as you can sorta imagine the rest, but it does makje a big difference, especially to shojo.
		I received the first volume of "Oniisama E" yesterday and I'd like to say I'm really impressed with your work.
		Though this doll is not an official "Oniisama E" piece of merchandise, its uncanny resemblence to the doll of the anime will stun you.

		I first hear of Oniisama E a few years ago but never really paid the show much attention because (like Rose Of Versailles) I thought "pffft it's old it'll be crap" (my newbie anime fan mind at this point classed old as "pre EVA").
		Anyway Nanako starts life at her posh high school pretty much as a normal girl in a sea of misfits, writing letters to her penpal Oniisama (a former young teacher who she asked to be her Oniisama) and dealing with the bunch of very disturbed girls at her school.
		Anyway, next Oniisama E post I have a lot more of my favourite moments coming up.

		Oniisama E (total of 39 episodes), the anime based upon the manga by the awesome Riyoko Ikeda (also did Rose of Versailles that shook the shoujo world) is the best tootin' beautifully dark shoujo drama anime I have ever seen!
		Well, it's true that some kind of people would find the serious plotline and self-possessed characters ultra weird and too much flower petals for their eye stomachs to handle.
		I wish there were more shows like Oniisama E where drama is done with such grace, beauty, and human depth.

		Vielleicht ist das auch der Charme von Yuri- eben dass es als solches (in festgelegten Serien) eigentlich gar nicbht existiert...
		Wahrscheinlich ist Oniisama E (auch bekannt als "Dear Brother") die einzige Serie, in der es fast ausschließlich um f/f-relations geht.

		I would compare it to the feel of Hana Yori Dango, with it’s neutral colors, classical and/or violin music, and overall melancholy tone.
		However, Oniisama E doesn’t have any of HYD’s playfulness or humor.
		The animation isn’t all that impressive, but overall, it looks like a series of moving paintings, as everything is done in a very unique, artistic style, with everything (like a flowing dress or the curls of the hair) being used to create beauty and flow.

		I'm still in shock to find the last four episodes of Brother Dear Brother (Oniisama e) up on Animesuki.
		The many fans of Maria-sama ga Miteru should really watch Oniisama e (Brother Dear Brother) since Marimite is heavily influenced by Oniisama e (all-girls' school, sorority woes, bullying, complex relationships, yuri).

		Saint Juste is the reason I first got into Oniisama E. It may sound superficial, but when I saw an image of her playing the flute in an online article several years ago, I became instantly fascinated with her.
