While Ronnie and DAP have treated Onn Jaafar and Tunku with honour and respect, Umno Youth in turn has defiled and insulted them.

UMNO and the price of success
Under the leadership of Datuk Onn Jaafar of Johor, Malays managed to reject what they saw as a major threat to their natural rights.
When Onn Jaafar later changed his mind and proclaimed a vision of a polity that was not race-based, meaning in effect that UMNO was to represent all races, he was allowed to resign.
The lesson was not lost on his successor, Tunku Abdul Rahman, who realized that the very rationale for UMNO's existence - the proclaiming of the notion of special Malay rights - could not be openly abandoned if its leader was to survive.
