		Onslaught prefers the intellectual battlegrounds of the mind, where he can carefully devise and polish his sinister schemes, to the physical battlegrounds of the war, where events don't always unfold as expected.
		Typically, Onslaught takes a backseat role in the assaults he plots, choosing to observe and re-evaluate his strategy rather than actually engage in combat, but, when stirred to action, he is a relentless, furious fighter, a terrifying contrast to the reserved thinker he is otherwise.

		It seems to me Marvel are no longer complacent and conservative but trying to push the boundaries of mainstream comics in a way not seen since 1986.
		Personally I think that Marvel has embraced what I like to consider a "post-Authority" comic marketplace, which in other words means its fine to have openly gay characters and a nice dose of violence, but most importantly trying to tie superheroes to the real world a little more.
		Though this approach isn't a hit with every comic reader, I think its just a progression of what Alan Moore tried to do almost twenty years ago, which was ask what superheroes would be like in the real world, or what the real world would be like if superheroes really existed.
