March of Dimes is the name of several health charities in the United States and Canada.
In the United States the March of Dimes is a national voluntary health charity founded in 1938 by United States President Franklin Delano Roosevelt as the National Foundation for Infantile Paralysis to defeat the epidemic disease polio, which killed or paralyzed thousands of Americans during the first half of the 20th century.
Over the years, the name "March of Dimes" became synonymous with that of the charity and was officially adopted in 1979.

Ontario March of Dimes has written a new chapter in its 44-year history of helping persons with physical disabilities achieve independence.
The building is funded by the Non-Profit Housing Program of the Ontario Ministry of Housing, which picked up the tab for construction costs and also will provide an annual operating subsidy to cover the shortfall between what some of the building’s tenants can pay and the real cost of paying off the 35-year mortgage.
The Ontario March of Dimes Non-Profit Housing Corporation also operates "Jason’s House," a fully detached and accessible house in Hamilton for three adults with severe disabilities.
