 Ontario provincial highway 11 - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Ontario provincial highway 11 is one of the longest of Ontario's King's Highways, with a current length (as of 2004) of 1636 km.
Highway 11 was originally constructed as a trunk road to connect the communities of northern Ontario, and was initially planned to run from North Bay to Cochrane.
North of Gravenhurst to North Bay, the highway is a mixture of freeway sections and at-grade rural expressway (planned to be upgraded to a full freeway) except for one gap that remains a two-lane conventional highway; that section is expected to be widened by 2012.

Highway 534 is a secondary highway in Central Ontario, Canada.
The highway then runs east through the community of Christian Valley into the Municipality of Powassan where it ends at an interchange with Ontario provincial highway 11.
The portion of the highway between Highway 524 and 654 is part of the Lake Nipissing Circle Tour.

 Restoule, Ontario
Restoule is a community on the Restoule River between Commanda Lake, and Restoule Lake in central Ontario, Canada.
Restoule is located south of Lake Nipissing, and north of Ontario's infamous cottage country.
There is only one way to get into Restoule, and that's on Highway 534 from the east.

In 1998, the portion of the highway south of Barrie, including Yonge Street, was downloaded by the provincial government to various regional governments as part of a mass downloading by the Ministry of Transportation of Ontario.
Highway 11 between Barrie and Gravenhurst is a rather unusual right-in, right-out (RIRO) expressway (local access permitted, turnarounds via special interchanges), except for a section around Orillia which is a full freeway.
It is possible that Highway 11 will be truncated to end in North Bay once all of the upgrades are complete, in which case a 400-series number may be applied for the freeway section from Barrie to North Bay (see below), most likely Highway 411.

This highway's primary purpose seems to be to serve as an access road from the community of Earlton to the Earlton airport southwest of town.
This is now the only secondary highway within the Town of Jaffray Melick, due mostly to the fact that it extends north of the municipal limit for an additional 14km to end at Reditt.
And third, it is the second-westernmost highway in the provincial highway system, with only Hwy 17 running further west, due to the fact that it is the only highway in Ontario to connect with any highway in Manitoba.

The pavement is a bit old but still in good enough condition that you can take the curves without much worry that you'll be bucked.
These have a lot of holes in the asphalt and sand in the corners, and you can't ride very fast.
On the other hand the part of Hwy 534 from the town of Restoule to Powassan is decent.

Trans Canada Highway 11 passes just west of Ramore which offers school, church, airport etc. Six miles west are thousands of acres of Crown land with hundreds of lakes to explore.
Located less than fifteen miles west of Powassan on Highway 11, the site is easily reached by Highway 534 and county roads.

James Brian Leachman (32 yrs) of Morris-Turnberry was arrested last night and charged with seven counts of Breach of Firearms Regulations, seven counts of Unauthorized possession of firearms, one count of unauthorized possession of weapon, one count of breach of probation order and one count of possession of a prohibited or restricted firearm.
He was released to attend court over the charges on October 20th, 2005 in Provincial Court in Goderich.
  Someone overnight entered the driveway of a residence on Ontario Street and entered two unlocked vehicles and stole credit cards, personal identification, and vehicle documentation along with a CD player, cell phone and several CD of religious music.
