News-Star OnlineAD says records format not guaranteed 11/25/04
Open records experts are expressing concern after Oklahoma Attorney General Drew Edmondson said public records not already on discs do not have to be provided to the public in electronic format.
Responding to reporters' questions about OSU's policy of not providing public records in electronic format, Edmondson said records that are public under the state's Open Records Act that are already on a disc have to be provided to the public on a disc.
But if records have to be extracted, such as saving them from a hard drive onto a floppy disc, then the agency can choose what format in which to provide the records, he said.

Iona (band) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Terl Bryant departed the band between these two albums, and Frank Van Essen returned to fill the vacant spot, playing drums as well as violin, which could be heard on the band's 2000 album, Open Sky.
After being released from their U.S. contract with ForeFront Records and their U.K. contract with Alliance Records, Iona formed Open Sky Records to release material independently.
The first new release on this label was the 2002 box set The River Flows, which featured remastered versions of the group's first three albums (which were out of print at the time), as well as a fourth disc of unreleased tracks and rarities called Dunes.

What strikes the listener right from the start is the sheer vitality and vibrancy of the songs on this album; there's a great deal of energy in the music and vocals.
There is a beat on many tracks but this album is not beat driven; indeed, the guitars are used to particularly good effect with plenty of excellent strumming making up just one element of the rhythms.
Open The Sky is highly recommended because the music is top notch.

The long instrumental opening and the lyrics that follow capture the struggle between wide-open sonic spaces and clipped, claustrophobic motifs that have always been present in their best work.
Morten Harket's vocals in the opening verse are plaintive, evocative, and crystalline, touching upon the melancholy of fleeting moments, over and irretrievable.
All of that verdant backdrop is suddenly swiped away, and we are left with Morten on one of his effortless high notes, on the word "stay!" The note floats in zero gravity for a moment, just before we are assailed with the bleating of a full orchestral string section.

The policy was open to airlines of all regions, including the Gulf, and was initially to remain in force till February this year, but the Government allowed it to continue till April.

PROGRESSIVEWORLD.NET: REVIEWS BY LARRY "LARRYD" DAGLIERI
I'll go on record and say that I'd rather much listen to Hansi Kursch singing this type of music rather than the Heimdall singer.
Everything seems to be recorded at the same level, with every instrument at the same level as the vocals, which are at the same level of the choirs, etc, etc. This makes for a very uninteresting sound, and it's tough trying to fight through the guitars to hear the vocals and vice versa.
The vocals, as weak as they are, are also back in the mix, and it's a double whammy trying to deal with the tone of his voice AND trying to hear him at the same time.

The third recording of the proto-Mahlerian symphony is coupled with the new to CD "Pastoral Overture" of 1877 whose Mahlerian elements are counterbalanced by a very Brucknerian fugato at the work's close (Rott was a student of Bruckner).
The Donemus recording is a 19:20 headlong frenzy; Rozhdestvensky's is much better recorded and, at over 28 minutes, provides tempo contrasts which (we hope) must be in the score but which were ignored for whatever reason.
Only the Little Suite has been recorded; the organ concerto (1954) is a compact, three-movement neo-baroque piece of 13 minutes in which the soloist is partnered with and within the orchestra and two piccolo trumpets join a third trumpet in the technique and style of Handel's baroque.

Ryo Kawasaki may be best-known as a premier jazz guitarist, as exemplified on one of his his recent albums (Sweet Life on Satellites Records), but by skillfully mixing sound with science, he also has built a reputation as the quintessential "supermodern" artist who is as much an inventor and engineer as a musician.
Although he continued to perform with his jazz group, and at a young age was voted the #3 jazz guitarist in a Japanese jazz poll, Ryo spent most of the next three years working as studio musician on everything from advertising jingles to pop songs.
In Japan, Sony's Open Sky label signed Ryo for three albums -- Mirror of my Mind, Little Tree and Live -- the latter, recorded in a Tokyo club, was one of the first all-digital recordings.

Only a re-reading will settle such a question but for now it's clear that Open Sky should be avoided by anybody unfamiliar with Rollins; die-hard fans might read it out of completeness but they're exactly the ones likely to find little they don't already know.
That's mentioned at the end of a paragraph that opens with Rollins graduating from high school in 1947 so it might be reasonable to assume that the recording was made in 1947, though in fact it was in 1949.
