Scholars in the 15th century recreated Ptolemy's map using the instructions in his work Geography, which explain how to project a sphere onto a flat piece of paper using a system of gridlines - longitude and latitude.

I'm not certain, but I think the operation that's successful is opening the map associated with ITO (Internet+IP).
The one that isn't working is the old NNM map (default).
Just for fun, run ovw and to open up the default NNM map on the server and then retry your launcher operation.
