		What it means in practice is that the compiler of a language that supports overriding can distinguish between two or more functions or operators that are both represented by the same name or symbol, and have the same function signature.
		In computer programming, a function is a self-contained sequence of code statements that perform a set of actions and return a value of a known type, and an operator is a symbol that represents a specific action.
		Operators and functions are implemented in much the same way in the details of the compiler, so from a technical point of view, there is little difference between them.
