The Orange County Great Park is the unofficial name of a plan for the private ownership and nonaviation reuse of the decommissioned El Toro Marine Corps Air Station in Orange County, California.
The city of Irvine is annexing the air station property and will be able to determine the Great Park's future by zoning.
The Great Park plan will divide about 5000 acres into a mix of wilderness parks, developed parks, schools, residential, business, farms and museums.

The Orange County Great Park Corporation today launched a campaign to give all Orange County residents an opportunity to see and provide comment on designs submitted by the seven world renowned landscape architects, designers and planners competing to be "master designer" of the Orange County Great Park.
The Orange County Great Park Corporation plans to select the master designer in October.
The public may also view art boards featuring the design concepts that will be on display at the Irvine Civic Center between September 12 and 21 from 8:30 A.M. to 5:30 P.M., Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays and 8:30 A.M. to 9:00 P.M. Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Cotton/Bridges/Associates (CBA), formerly a division of PandD Consultants and now fully integrated into the firm, was the prime consultant for preparation of a major mixed-use Master Plan and EIR for the former Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) El Toro.
This Plan was known as the Orange County Great Park Plan and was based on the vision of ensuring commitment of the 4,700-acre MCAS El Toro site to regional open space and park uses and creation of a significant habitat preserve/wildlife corridor.
CBA prepared the plan for the City of Irvine in anticipation of annexing the site, and did so on an expedited schedule.
